Which car? Audi TT, Mazda or Porsche?

Hi, I am planning to buy a new car at the end of this year. Its either a 2005-2006 Audi TT 190, 2002-2004 Porsche Boxster 2.7 or a 2007 2009 Mazda MX5 1.8 Sport. These cars are all reliable, but the only downside about the Audi and Porsche that they are group 17 and will cost £2000,
however I can pay a £1k then pay £90 per month for the remaining £1k. Also, the downside about the mx5 is that Ive heard its too girly.

I am stuck for decisions. I need help from either a specialist in these cars or a person who knows their cars well.

Regards

Bill Jr.
I have looked at the Mazda 6,my aunt owns one and I think its superb, but I already own a 2005 European Ford Focus which is lovely, but find that its too big for me as I don't really need a car with 4 seats, only 2 seats would do as Im only 20. The Honda S2000 is a fine car, but I don't see enough of them in the UK here.
Also another thing, I am very tempted by the Boxster but is it friendly for a 20 year old students Wallet? Here in the UK, I know a small independent Porsche Dealer in Surrey who offers servicing for £500 but would it be foolish or wise.

I am a 1st gen Boxster 2.7 owner. I love it, but they are not exactly the most reliable cars. Audi TT is even worse.

The Mazda is the only reliable car you listed and the best choice for all costs. Fuel, maintenance, repair, insurance, performance modifications, etc.

The S2K has the Mazda's reliability with the Porsche's performance so it would be a great choice if you can find one that you can afford. But the Mazda is still a great car.

Dear Bill Jr. all good choices the tt is better with the v6. the miata (mx-5) does have the girly connotations due to its two door cutesy looks. the other car in stable that my mate swears by is 2.3 mazda attenza (mazda 6) chain driven so no cambelt to replace. cheap to run as a mx5 but still has practicality of 4 door but if you are still craving 2 doors but dont need the fuel bill also look at toyota mr-s or a toyota celica.

I'd go with the 2013 Tiguana by Uranis. It has all the defense mechanisms of an iguana (scaly surface, tail which falls off in case of danger, etc.), plus it has all the stealth and unpredictability of a tiger. At breakneck speeds of almost 45 MPH, everyday will be an adventure. Will your breaks work? Better throw it into gear and find out!

Always a bit suspicious with these questions, I mean who is going to choose a car based on what a bunch of strangers on the internet say?

If you REALLY ARE considering these cars the only option is to test drive all of them and see what one you like best.
