what type of transmission Fluid do i put in my truck?

i have a 1992 chevy s10 with a 5 speed in it, and i don't know what type of oil/ transmission fluid i should put in it, i have been told to use 75-90 weigh and ATF but i don't know, so could you please give me some help on what i should use, and i do not have the owner's manual.

if its a manual transmission, it is right you can use 90 grade transmission fluid. if it is an automatic transmission, go for automatic transmission fluid may be an dexron or dexron II. consult your car dealer for the same
