Then somewhere in the song there is a break that has a trumpet chorus playing a harmony that sounds like funk. Then after that break, it goes back to that guy saying "La da da day. La da da da da day day".
This feel of the song reminds me of Cantaloop (Flip Fantasia) by Us3.
I haven't heard this song since probably 1997-98 and it's been stuck in my head since!
