What do you think of the name Alfred for a dog?

When I was a kid, we had a dog named Alfred, he was a German Shepherd X. My parents got him for my brothers and I when I was 9. We named him after Alfred E. Neuman from the Mad Magazine. Do you like that name for a dog?

That is such a cute name it kinda reminds me of the food chicken Alfredo. Suppose a dog loved chicken Alfredo. I'd name that dog Alfred! Anser mine?
