MONTREAL — Quebecor Inc. reported its first-quarter profit edged higher compared with a year ago. The company said its net income attributable to shareholders totalled $121.4 million or 51 cents per share for the quarter ended March 31 compared with a profit of $121.3 million or 49 cents per share a year earlier.
