Planning vacation days in Hawaii...?

We are going to Hawaii for 10 days! The first 6 days will be spent in Maui. This leaves us with 4 whole days, and our flight will depart from Oahu.

I need an opinion...

Would we best benefit from spending all 4 days in Oahu?
Would it even be worth it to break it up and take 2 days at Kauai (or Big Island) and then 2 in Oahu?

Just curious if it's silly to try to get something out of 2 days here and 2 days there.

Kauai is the most scenic island. The north shore is some of the coolest land on earth, think of lush jungle like terrain, hikes into secluded waterfalls. South shore , Poipu beach, is more popular, but head north.
