So I have this monitor for over a year, and it has worked like a charm. I have always used it as my second monitor. But now all of a sudden my screen poofs on for a split second and then mysteriously shuts off. Now the screen still has power as the led light indicates that it should work fine. It does not. When I restart it it does the same thing, turns on, turns off. I have switched cables. Switched output between screens, nothing works. The menu does not show because the screen is just blacked out.
When I take a good look at the screen as it starts up, you see that the screen is divided in 2 sections trough the middle. As the left side is slightly brighter then the right side. I have read up to this and some people say I need to take it to my Technical support store in my area.
My warranty does not work, sines I live abroad to were I have bought it.
And because I live in a deserted island not far from the Venezuelan coast, this means there is no LG help desk near here.
