OK so i bought some new cds, Wasting Light and I'm With You, with the intent of having them both in my car on the cd and in iTunes. Unfortunately my somewhat old cpu isn't ripping them correctly. When i try to rip in iTunes, one song on I'm With You gets about 1:40 and another :32 and the rest of them have unavailable for time. In Windows Media Player, the first gets to about 40% and then it stops and says error but no window pops up saying what kind of error.
Does my DVD drive require some kind of firmware update? I don't think it needs to be replaced as it reads cpu games and partially reads the cd.
Oh and btw my parent's laptop rips the cds perfectly.
