With EU elections coming up in June, a survey commissioned by the European Parliament showed more than 70% of EU citizens believe they benefit from their country's membership in the European Union. Respondents cited reasons such as the EU maintains peace and improves cooperation between countries, the survey showed. "The image of the EU has remained stable since March 2023, with 45% of EU citizens having a positive image of the bloc, 38% have a neutral image and 16% have a negative image," according to the report released on Wednesday.
