Our guest this morning is Michael Zislis. Michael – a frequent and favorite guest here on the show – is a South Bay native and the brain trust behind The Zislis Group. With a flourishing collection of breweries and restaurants located throughout the South Bay – Rock'N Fish, Brewco, Circa, The Strand House and the soon to open Rock & Brews in Torrance just to name a few, The Zislis Group has created a winning formula for drinking and dining in the South Bay. Featuring California's most prestigious wineries, the event attracts wine enthusiasts from around the state. The evening also includes elegantly presented hors d'oeuvres to savor with your choice of wines. A percentage of the proceeds will benefit Manhattan Beach Middle School. Recently, Executive Chef Chris Garasic debuted zinc@shade's new breakfast, lunch and brunch menus and I attended a Media Preview for the new lunch menu a couple of weeks ago, so we'll be discussing that as well.
