LG LCDTV hdmi connection has no audio:?

HDMI connection is pretty simple. video is great but no audio? So I resolved to using the RCA connectors and just used the "Component 1" input connection.
Is there any other way around it using the HDMI connector?

hdmi has the best video AND AUDIO available. if you are not getting any audio theres is somthing wrong with the cable or equipment, it also may be you need to change your audio settings to digital.

This is a very common issue with most TVs that don't accept Dolby Digital over HDMI.
In your set-top box (or DVD player), Change the audio format over HDMI to PCM (NOT Dolby Digital)
