Is this snowmobile a good deal?

Im looking for a snowmobile this winter and im going cheap but i found a guy that is selling a 1997 Polaris XCR 600 triple. It has a cracked cowl a ripped seat and the speedometer is broke. The guy says it only has 4500 miles and it runs good. It has a brand new track its a camoplast track. He is asking $700 total with papers and everything. im wondering if this is a good deal because im a ski-doo guy i dont know much about polaris sleds. plus i wanna know if this is a good trail sled because all i do is ride the trails.
