help me find a quality used car/SUV?

hi im looking for a reliable, nice, car or SUV or truck. I want something with hopefully AWD, RWD at the least. I've looked at 2005 f150s, older Range Rovers, just for starters as SUVs. ive also looked at used BMW 3series and Subaru Imprezas. what faster car or reliable SUV can i get for around 5000-6000$ with low mileage. please help me!

As the owner of a 2003 Range Rover and often the driver of a 2012 Range Rover, I can vouch that these are amazing SUVs. But I would highly suggest you don't buy a 2003+ model that is within your price range, that's just asking for trouble.

I also own an e92 3 series; but I never really cared for the e46 model years (with the exception of the M3).
I would recommend an e30 3 series, their beautiful. I would also highly recommend an e34 5 series. (or the e39 5 series, but I didn't care for that style either)

BMW X5s are really nice and drive much more like a car than the Range Rover.

You can often times find a Mercedes ML55 AMG within your price range, and while the style is out there, the vehicle is a stunning drive.
