*i decided to just be fun and put a situation up, im not having this problem, but i would like to see how many different responces i get*
A 29g freshwater fish tank, is testing high nitrates, no nitrates, low alkalinity, and a ph of 6.2, and 1.0 ammonia. the inhabitats are (a pearl gourami, 6 glofish, 4 red tiger platys, 3 corys, and 2 oto cats).
the water is being changed 2xs a month, first week half the water, 3rd week 1/4th, with the filter cartridge being changed 1x on the 3rd week. the corys have slowed down, and wont eat, and the platys are hovering down bottom in the corner....
what would you do to fix the problems in this tank????
