I just got my own laptop, a mac if that makes a difference, and I want to connect it to my parents printer in the next room. They have a laptop connected to the printer with a wire. If I want to print stuff it's annoying because I have to email it to myself and print it there or use a usb, but I want to be able to automatically send my document to that printer. I'm not really sure about the details of the printer and that hardware :/
