Before I go out and spend more money I just want to ask If i can hook my theatre system this way. I have and old lifestyle 12 system . Can I hook up HDMI cable from Blue ray to the tv and then the orange color digital audio coaxil ( cant use the optical audio cable since my old bose doesnt support it) to the bose. OR do i use the blue red green hd coponenet cables ( and not the hdmi cable) from blue ray to the tv and then the orange digital cable from blue ray to the bose digital source. Am just trying to find out the best way to hook up my old bose system to the blueray and even tv.
