1999 Jeep Grand Cherokee heater blows cold air.?

I have a 1999 Jeep Grand Cherokee and the heater does not blow hot air. The blower motor worksand the AC blows very cold air but the heater blows cold air as well. I have tried all settings to see if it was a short in a control switch but it blows cols air in all positions. I am going to flush the radiator and change the thermostat this weekend. What else should I do ???

Do a radiator flush as well, i am not very familiar with jeeps, but there is a thing that "switches" the heater core to what ever temp you want, and that might be broken, i believe on fords they call it a blendor or something like that
