speedup

Is it possible to increase bluetooth transfer speed, like for big file transfer and high speed internet surf ?

I'm too tempted to speed up my games by holding spacebar in VisualBoyAdvance. Is there anyway to disable it? I've assigned spacebar as a hotkey but that still speeds the game up.
