licks it. What is this? She had it for around 6 months. We're discouraged to go to the vet b/c she over 10 yrs old and she gets very nervous with each vet visit. We tried anti-itch cremes etc. and she immediately licks it again.

every time i pick my guinea pig up she starts putting her right paw in her mouth and is like chewing on it.i know it doesnt hurt her cause she aint screaming or anything..i just wanna know why?she is not bleeding or anything...not hurting herself..

I have already been told by my vet to wrap a warm water towel around his paw. But is there anything else i can do to help my pet out? The vet did give him antibiotics and i am continuing the medication. What else can i do. The pus is internal , its in his paw and its swollen.
