While writing data to my hard drive, it suddenly zapped off, without as much as a hiccup, from the device manager. Now I can't power it back on. Tried drive on 2nd CPU and still not recognized (I can't tell if the drive is on OR off.) The drive got warm at the melt down, but it never made any...
I have OSX 10.7 lion, but the software that comes with the HDD is powerPC (why they haven't updated it I have no idea.)

I bought a Lacie d2 Blu-ray burner dirve and plugged it into my mac, i opened Toast 8 and pressed eject and nothing, i can't get any response. When I turn it on it blinks and everytime I press eject it blinks but nothing happen. PLEASE HELP
