Ever notice that if a program or even the whole computer freezes "(not responding)" sometimes a quick fix is just hitting CTRL ALT DEL? Not even ending any tasks or processes, but just the act of bringing up task manager, and instantly things unfreeze.

After 3 years of not using a self built computer i have experienced a strange bug "A disk read error occurred. Press CTRL-ALT-DEL to restart" , the computer is running Windows xp i have no idea what has caused the issue please help -debenex- Thanks got it to half work by blowing the sata lead...
