I have been looking for this part for some time now with no luck, I was told I need it for the truck to pass smog. I've also heard it called a idle stopper, not sure which is right or if either are. I checked with the dealers and they cant get it because the truck is too old for the system now...

I got a 1970 chevy c20, thats leaking oil from the engine seals (email me @ [email protected] for pictures!)...can anyone help? is this an easy fix? or do I have to take it to a shop? & around much will it cost to fix?

I have 72 chevy C20 with a 350 V8 and I know have "rod knock". I could get a shop for a weekend to pull the motor. It has been years since I did a rebuild. Budget is king with me but I want an engine that is solid when I am done. thoughts?
