So I recently embarked on a muscle building routine.
However, I have one worry. I know that to gain muscle, you are required to eat at least 500 calories above your regular assigned calorie intake. My question is, what if I am unable to make it to the gym during the week for whatever reason...

being home schooled since the 6th, I'm behind as far as understanding nutrition. dad plainly says i need 'good' calories, and a lot of it for body building. can someone give me a link to a site that lays it out detailed for me. any info relevant would be greatly appreciated :)

I know some people say to cut cardio out completely while bulking, but im doing a super clean bulk working out 5 days a week of weights. The other 2 days I wanted to do sprinting. I've heard sprinting burns fat while adding some muscle. I figure sprinting 2 days a week will keep my fat gain...
