It's not a prepaid phone, it's available with plan for 99.99 on att website. but you do have the option to go to your local att store and get it without a contract at no-commitment price, which is 299.99.

I need to know if you can always use wi-fi instead of the 3g. I'm planning to get iphone from a friend and use it with my current att simcard. Would that work or att will found that I'm doing this. I just don't want to pay extra 30 bucks a month. and use wifi for internet.

Razr is very old now. Att have better phones than verizon. right now all the touch-screen phones are in fashion

if you're paying for the plan you can use it, but I can't grantee you it will be good because t-mobile uses different speed network than att (better). Also there is wi-fi in i-phone which you can use with free of charge. I was going to unlock i phone than get t-mobile, but it's not worth it...
