I was with Donald Trump on this one: He proposed that they rebuild the towers, absolutely identical to what they looked like before. The fact of the matter is, we let the terrorists win that round. They wanted to make us fearful of them, and it worked. The Freedom Tower is a ridiculous idea...
I agree. We've basically let the terrorists have what they wanted -- a country that's afraid of them. We should have spent our time and effort protecting our interests here, not attacking them in other countries and stripping our citizens of the rights we're supposedly protecting.
