Well, most Compaq's require you to make these DVD's when you first get your laptop, in case you have a problem as they typically don't ship with any CD\DVD's. So if you did not make these DVD's as instructed you might be out of luck, and might have to get a copy of the OS retail.

3G iPhone is coming out. Yes it's cool. But I really don't need 3G data plan (or any data plan really). I don't need a GPS either. Could I buy a used iPhone on eBay, and activate it just as a phone w/o a data package? And could I do this on Verizon Wireless network perhaps?
