Briefcase was a free storage area Yahoo offered. It's being withdrawn end of March. If you never put anything there you wont need to remove anything.
Logon, then go to 'briefcase.yahoo.com'. If space used = 0 then you've never used it so no worries.

Okay - so the router itself works.
Does the laptop even try to connect to the router? Does it search for connections or just do nothing? Does the network card show up in the system tray, and in control panel? Is the device active? Does the hardware wizard show the device as working?

I had this recently, and mailed the customer support. They told me to just reset the home hub, but not sure how I did that. I think I just switched it off for a few minutes then plugged it back in again.
Firefox is smaller and quicker to install, faster to use, and simpler. And has quite a few useful add-ons (spell-check is really useful).
Firefox also seems more stable, and crashes very rarely, and when it does, recovers to where you were before.

I got a Nokia 3110c Classic from Orange online for £30 I think. This was PAYG. Only 1.3M camera, but has MP3 and bluetooth. Really need a microSD card as well - about £10 for 2GB one.
It can take a micro-SD card, so you can load music that way.
Other way is to the internal memory (not that much space 128MB?) - can transfer from PC when plugged in via the USB cable (supplied with phone).
