Hi, I have a fiat cinquecento 849cc, please don't laugh, car starts and runs fine but when decelerating the car will stall, also when driving along will occasionally misfire, it doesn't stall every time you slow down but often enough to be a problem any ideas greatly apreciated.
the car is 15 years old and two weeks ago i changed the head gasket the head did not need skimming so i didn't i rebuilt her and then she sat for about 2 weeks whilst i sorted a problem with the water pump i've just driven her to work about ten miles and have checked the oil filler cap and there...
i'm losing a reasonable amount of coolant with no obvious external leaks. i am getting some white smoke out of the exhaust but not clouds and clouds of it i have no loss of power however it is becoming a little difficult to start in the morning (i have to give it some revs to stop it stalling)...
Iv'e checked the battery e.t.c and still no joy i have tried bump and jump starting so i think it could be the starter motor or the solamoid any one have any idea how much i should be paying to have this fixed (worst case scenario)
