this is driving me nuts, I cannot get the nut undone on the vicous coupling to the waterpump on a 1992 bmw 518 e34 with m40 engine, I know I have to wack it with a hammer according to the haynes manual and clockwise but it aint shifting, please help, aggggghhh
the heater doesn't come on? ok so I cant work out was this is, the engine heats up quickly and the temp gage rises very sharply, and beyond halfway and near red if i let it and also the heater doesnt get warm at all, I have today changed the thermostat to see if it was this, which it isnt...
ok so my car after a few minutes driving, the temp gage goes into the red, and the cars heater is blowing out cold air, engine is hot but not steaming hot so dont think its the head gasket blown, could it be the thermostat, thanks
