We have DirecTV and want to be able to make DVDs from our DVR. We've never done it before and need some guidance.

...pets? Do they work... asian beetles? We get swarms of asian beetles in the house (literally hundreds) this time of year. Would an electronic pest repeller help keep them away... chase them out? Which ones are best? We have a cat and a dog... will this effect them in any way?
