The topic has drifted right on course to what I was asking in a round a bout way. Not so much the ethnic diversity but the amount of different partners.
I should add that they are not mutually exclusive conditions. You can have both patriotic and nationalistic tendencies. For example, I'm quite heavily patriotic, and not so nationalistic.
