Someone I know said there was a movie where a couple of kids were sucked into the television and ended up in a whole lot of shows (including a cartoon).

I just use plastic grocery bags. Pick up the poop and turn the bag inside out. It works well and then you don't have some sort of scoop with poop on it that you need to clean later on.
