Thread: Whats this Media Rights Usage Download Xvid Tool Popping up on WMP is it a virus?

ok ive downloaded two movies off a torrent site ive already seen these at the cinema i just wanted to get them for the kids to watch again, but every time i launch them i get a pop up in windows media player saying xvid codec required and a download link non of it seems legit are these fake downloads trying to install virus's and ads on my pc or?

Well your taking a risk downloading from those kinds
of sites anyway because included in the download
you will get more than you bargained for!

Like Viruses and loads of other crap!

Other than that, it means that you need to download the codec
for the film because WMP doesn't recognise the format.
