Thread: safe to download XviD ?

for watching movies online??? cause im not sure what it is..

Be careful,when a website for movies wants you to download xvid it may have more pop ups asking you to pay for xvid.You need to download codecs, or you can install VLC media player vlc.com which I believe have codecs already. I would stay away from anything asking you to download xvid.

That is a codec and its really safe depending on where you downloaded it. I suggest that you download KLite Codec Pack and your codec problem will be solved (you can watch most common video or audio formats with your media player after installing it)

But you should still always have some kind of virus protection...
