Cause they are the major game in town and a huge corporation..meaning? They take your money and don't give a crap about you. I HATE dealing with verizon. It takes way way too long to get a problem solved, you have this stupid recorded voice and a mile long menu to get through to get help.
I always yell into the phone "customer service" and eventually it goes off the recorded menu and to a real person.
Dang frustrating, I know. Makes you want to crawl through the phone and bop somebody on the head.
