verizon dsl, poor customer service?

my dsl stopped working, i called verizon they sent someone out untill 3 days. the tech said the problem was inside. he said they would charge me $90 an hour. he said i didnt have a warranty they offer for $7.00. i called verizon i told them i never knew of any warranty. they said that i had supposebly refused it. ( a lie) then they said we could start u up with that but u need to wait 30 days untill it takes effect. or u could pay 35.99 right, we will send someone tommorrow to fix it, BUT it will be a year contract u would be setting up if u do this. i think this is redicoulous the supervisor also said he cant do nothing about it. now i have been without internet for 1 week. has anyone had similar problems with poor customer service from verizon. i am going to be cancelling this idiots tomorrow. (im using my sisters internet by the way.)
ive called 4 different occasions, they dont seem to reason.

Yes, as a matter of fact I know someone who had Verizon phone service and was having problems with the voicemail. The problem started in January when the voicemail simply stopped working. It took forever to get a repairman out to check it, got it working and it worked for a day or two, then quit again. This process was repeated two more times until April, when the customer finally got fed up and switched to phone service from Optimum.

Verizon's customer service and repair service seems to be very bad. If they keep this up they will be out of business soon.

Yea, Verizon customer service sucks. My mom had a phone that was recalled and they didn't believe it and charged me 80 bucks to replace it with the same refurbished phone that went bad--the battery overcharges and gets hot--a Motorola--finally Motorola replaced it as it was recalled-but bought it through Verizon.

The worst was when I added a phone number to my plan and all of a sudden I got an $800 bill from them-they charged me for the phone--an old one of mine I added a number to and charged me for a whole new plan $200 a month--with only a minimum number minutes--so all added up. Anyways they were going to shut my service off so I spoke with one representative and he said he would fix it--then talked to a financial representative and she said she was sick of people not paying their bills and she was the one in control--and b****** me out. She shut my service off!! She is Tanya --a witch--I complained but nothing was prob done. Wasn't even my problem when someone made a mistake along the way. I have always been current on my payment--I hate Verizon customer service and will change once my plan is up.
