how can you get a text to your phone that has information on how many texts youv'e used so far for your billing cycle?

I don't think you can. You could probably call them and they can tell you how many you have used. They also list that information on your statement.

The easiest way is to dial 96. If the word DATA does not show up then its not programmed in your phone. Another way to do it is go to Menu settings and tools, My Verizon. Its free when you go on it. Then there should be something that says usage click on that and it should show you. If either of these are not working for you, then call Verizon or if you have a log in on My Verizon website you can check there. Good Luck

You have to go to mobile web and click "My Verizon". You shouldn't be charged airtime charges because you're checking your Verizon information. You can then check your balance and usage (how many texts you've sent and received)
