is verizon better than cingular ?

all of my friends have verizon and i have cingular
cingular is less money, has rollover minutes, and good reception
but verizon comes with unlimited texting which i dont have
i want verizon but my mom doesnt know which one is better

what do you think ?

cingular is expensive. no real text message plan....and very low coverage where i live. But the iphone is nice...but the iphone was originally offered to verizon. i personaly like verizon because even tho i might not have a strong signal everywhere. i atleast have one!!! which on cingular i was lucky to make a phone call esp. out in the country. and cingular towers are sometimes overloaded and no one with a cingular phone can make a call..but they have better phones

i like cingular better because it has better phones, and better deals (but verizion does have better texting plans i believe) but i mean it really is up to you, they're all pretty much the same. i also like cingular because 'more bars in more places' (it's true) hope this helps, good luck
