How much does it cost to text someone in the Dominican Republic from the U.S.

using Verizon? A friend of mine is in the Dominican Republic and I've been texting her. I know that iMessaging is free but my phone doesn't always do that even if I'm messaging an iPhone (I don't know why; I have all the settings correct; sometimes I send iMessages but sometimes I don't). I looked it up on Verizon's website and I believe it's 0.25 cents for a sent message and 0.20 for a received message. Is that right?

    Thank you.

.25 cents sending and .20 receiving. iMessage only works between iPhone devices and if both phone are connected to wifi or cellular data.

    Should be.

Also, iMessage works only between iDevices. Apple is known for taking iMessage down for maitanence so just give it time to work again.
