How long will it take for Alltel's towers to be converted to Verizon towers?
As you may know, Verizon Wireless acquired Alltel Wireless on January 9, 2009. With this newly conjoined cell phone company, the amount of coverage Verizon offers its customers is going to boost up.
Anyways, I live in the boonies. It's a town so small, it takes 30 seconds to go in and out of. Every town, city, etc. provides coverage for Verizon except for my town. However, according to my friends who had Alltel, they had service in my town.
Does anyone know how long it will take for Alltel's cell phone towers to be converted to Verizon cell phone towers so I can finally have service where I live?
