Does anyone know about verizon wireless plans?

Okay, so I have a phone and its about to break. I wanted to get a new phone and I really like the samsung rogue, but I'm not sure if I would have to enable the internet on my phone which would cost $30 more a month; and I dont want to have to pay more. I looked it up on verizonwireless.com and it didnt say it was a smart phone, so I'm really not sure. Can someone help me please?

Hey I work as a Verizon rep. and no the rogue isnt a smart phone.. so no data pak. is reg'd but if you get that phone you might wanna get unlimt'd text lol.. you'll want it w/ the full keyboard :]]

If its not a PDA or smartphone you dont need to add any kind of data plan.

I worked for them up until Aug.

**I looked it up and its just a reg cell, no data plan req'd!
