cost to cancel line in verizon family plan?

My phone fell into a pool, clutzy me, and i had the insurance but verizon charges 50 dollars to replace the phone, and the phone is the worst phone i have ever had (alias) and there is no way i will pay fifty dollars for it. So what i want to do is cancel my line on the family plan, then add the line on again. Now, i know that greedy verizon will probablly charge a fee for cancelling the line, so how much would that be? will there be a fee for starting a new line? any help would be appreciated, thanks... (oh, and btw.. the reason i want to start a new line is that cuz at walmart when you start a new line you can get a free en v 2, so yeah.

Pay the $50.00 and read the small print next time you sign up for an insurance plan...

And by the way, Verizon knows all about those "get around the rules" gig.
