Thread: can you turn a verizon phone into a sprint phone?

With sprint you can buy a phone and swap it with another sprint phone. and with t-mobile you can use a cingular phone if you want. I want to buy a verizon phone and use it as sprint or at least try...but is there some type of code or whatever where sprint will know its not their phone
