You can record songs on your phone, then you send the song to your own cell phone, then choose the option save as ringtone. thats one way.
Alsssooo theres a site called myxertones.com which is freee, but sometimes it dosent work for verizon.

Any body know any sites for FREE ringtoness for VERIZON?
i just got a new phone & idont have any ringtones. & my mom just told me i dont have free ringtones...is there any sites ican go to to get free ringtones that wont show up on the monthly bill.?

There is no such thing as free. Make sure you read all the fine print associated with ringtone services and such... ;-)
