Jeep slow to start when hot.
Jeep grand Wagoneer had a loose battery ground wire. It was melting clamp, and dripping lead on the battery. I replaced the clamp and tightened (I thought) the loose connection. Car started okay until this past heat wave. Checked the wire again, it was loose and melting the clamp again. It only starts slowly when the car has run for a period of time. Also, Air Compressor going bad and not sure if that could effect the battery charge. Anyone have a clue. Can the battery over heat due to the past loose ground wires? Does it sound more like a starter?
