Thread: Can I put a fuel pump from a 96 jeep grand cherokee in a 98 jeep grand cherokee?

I have a 1998 Jeep Grand Cherokee with a V8 engine and need a new fuel pump. I found one at a junk yard for a 1996 Jeep Grand Cherokee and was wondering if it would work in mine. thanks!

so to a parts store tell them U dunno if U have a 96 or 98 get them to look it up in the computer to see if it is the same pump act like ur gonna buy it and they will show U if it has the same part number if so then tell them never mind and use the one U have if they are indeed different then buy one
