Grammar Quiz?!?
I have a grade 7 grammar quiz today on predicates, subjects, adverbs, direct and indirect objects and i have no idea what anything is cause I was away for most of it so my teacher just said "Do your best" but my best is going to be a zero if I don't get this. The questions ask me to underline the subject then double underline the predicate then put a like in between the two in the right area and brackets around the adjective and square brackets around the adverbs and circle any indirect objects and put three lines under any direct objects.
Can someone please explain each of these in words I can understand and give an example and tell me what i'd do to them?
It isn't cheating because this is all in my binder. I just forgot it at school and yesterday I got a 65 on the pre-test so...
