Thread: How much do teachers make in a year? Do they get paid during summer vacation too?

I'm thinking of becoming a middle school teacher.

How much would I get paid a year?

And yes, I want the career because the job sounds interesting. Not because of the payment. But my parents are a bit worried that I won't make enough money and I might have to get another job. lol

teachers in New Jersey get paid more i don't no how much but i read that the top 3 states were New Jersey California and Connecticut.
