i am going on a cruise to the caribbean, and i am with the cell phone provider telus, with telus you get the same texting rates as in the us. i have unlimited texting so i was just wondering if there was any places in the caribbean where the texting is the same as the us? do any places use the same towers? or since i am on a cruise will it not matter at all.

You might hit a US tower or two but it's really hard to say and you could end up with a not so pleasant surprise on your next bill. Best to call TELUS directly and ask.
