On telus can you switch your pay and talk phone to a plan?

i have a brand new phone on pay and talk prepaid system with telus and I want to switch to plan now because it would be easier in my life just paying the bill not oh shoot ran out of mins and have to run to the store . Someone told me you couldnt but others say you can use the same phone. HELP!

Yes, you can switch it to a monthly plan. If you want to stay on P&T, you also have the option of auto top-up by using a credit card where they will charge your card when you are running low on minutes.
